About Vermeil

Vermeil - pronounced "vehr-may" - is an industry standard for gold finished jewelry. It requires jewelry to be made of pure 925 (Sterling) silver, then finished with a thick 2.5 micron layer of 10k or more of pure gold.

Our Vermeil is 14k gold, unless otherwise stated.

Identical

Vermeil looks identical to pure gold jewelry, since the outer layer is pure gold.

Light to Wear

Vermeil is light on the body, since its core metal is 925 silver (see Silver's Many Benefits).
